About Us

Who We are

The mission of Coqui Charities is simple – to promote the social, economic and cultural welfare of Puerto Rico. We are a group of people who recognize that Puerto Rico is a special place, as unique as a coqui, and full of talented and vibrant people.

The passage of the hurricane has been a very hard, collective time for our island and our goal is to help restore Puerto Rico and bring it back to its best. Coqui Charities brings to life a whole-hearted idea – the idea that together we can be the catalyst to bring Puerto Rico back to its splendor. Coqui Charities is governed as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization and also is 1101 compliant.

Testimonials

I will be forever grateful to Bruce Deichl and Coqui Charities for the help you have provided with the Punta Santiago/Yabucoa Toy drive. I couldn’t had done it without your help and the great group of sponsors that have come on board. Bless you all. It surely takes a village. And my village ROCKS

The time, energy and funding that Coqui Charities provided our Humacao Grita mural project helped our team of artists overcome several major obstacles and gave us the encouragement and enthusiasm we needed to get the job done.
