A genuine fan of Puerto Rico, Rosana María Roig returns her love to her island home at every chance, mainly through the enjoyment of the arts and culture. Inspired by the words of her uncle, Don Luis A. Ferré, “The international language for the world is the arts,” she is committed to offering the youth in Puerto Rico the opportunity to experience and enjoy all kinds of artistic expressions from wall murals, to ballet and music, that contribute to a better quality of life.
As a knowledgeable and experienced communications professional, Rosana has the commitment and business savvy to make things happen for the benefit of Puerto Rico´s budding generations. Her experience as President of her own Public Relations and Media Agency for the past 30 years includes helping businesses establish their images through branding, lobbying in the House of Representatives for issues of importance to the business community, and creating alliances in the business sector in the ever-changing world of marketing and communications.
Rosana has been in the Board of Directors of Ballet Nacional de Puerto Rico, Robinson School, Asoc del Condado, and Rotary Club of Santurce always sponsoring cultural activities in our communities.
Rosana’s love for the arts not only runs through her veins but she also majored in the Arts, Education and Psychology with a minor in Art Therapy at Goucher College in Maryland, a combination that has been especially helpful in both her career in communications and as a promoter of the arts.
